Hooded Ducky Bath Towel Review!

With our little guy due in October, I'm stocking up on baby essentials. While I don't necessarily see baby-specific towels as necessary, I thought this one was VERY cute and had to have it! I didn't know what to expect, but I was quite blown away with this set! It exceeded any expectations that I had for it, based upon similar sets and products that I have seen in retail stores.

The very first thing I noticed is how plush this towel is. In fact, it's so plush that there were little fibers falling off of it. I would suggest washing it before using it with your baby. The towel is super thick, and compared to the thinner ones I've seen in retail stores, it feels like heaven! With it being thicker, it's more absorbent! The stitching that goes around the edges is tight and professionally done. This is very important to me, as I don't want to worry about baby's fingers and toes getting cut on stray strings or loose seams!

I was very happy with the fact that the beak and eyes of the duck are embroidered on. They are NOT printed, which means no fading and peeling paint to ruin the design.

This towel is quite large and would work for even elementary students! It will absolutely grow with baby and be a gift that keeps on giving!

The little included rubber duck is adorable as well and is sure to provide a lot of joy!

Overall, I highly suggest this towel. It's amazing!

Baby Teething Pad Review!

If you're a fan of baby carrying, you may find yourself in need of these teething pads! They're quite genius, actually!

These pads are made to snap around the front of the carrier and on the straps that go over the shoulders. This allows baby to chew away at the carrier without leaving you with wet shoulders and chest. This also is gentler on baby's face and gums/teeth.

This set features an adorable bird print that covers all three pieces. This provides unity in design. The pattern is gender neutral, so you can purchase this as a shower gift to go with a carrier, even if you don't know the gender!

I really like that this set has options to attach pacifiers and toys. These elastic bands are sewn tightly into the pads. The whole set has stitching that is extremely tight and well-done. There are no loose strings or seams.

Overall, this is a great set to use with your carrier and a great convenience for for baby.

Zoozik Baby Bandana Drool Bibs 4 Pack Review!

I've purchased more than my share of bandana bibs for our little guy that's on his way, and for the most part, they all feature solid colors and geometric prints. Others feature on-trend prints like arrows. I was VERY excited about this set because I'm a MAJOR animal lover. This set features adorable, baby-style depictions of animals. The bibs feature a puppy, a calico cat, a giraffe, and ever-popular owls. With the exception of the pink owls, the bibs are all gender-neutral, as they're printed on either white or yellow background and have no gender-specific features.

These bibs are not only adorable...but well made. The thin cotton printed fabric is backed with thick, softer material that reminds me of fleece. These two layers are sewed together with even, secure, and well-done stitching. In that back, the bib is adjustable in size by snaps that can be positioned to be tighter or looser.

Overall, these are precious! I love how unique they are from bibs that are already out there! The print is adorable and unique and these bibs are bright and eye-catching. I'd highly suggest them as a personal purchase or as a shower gift!

Dr. K Baby Wipes Review!

With little Max on the way, we've been stocking up where we can on baby essentials. No matter how old baby gets to be, I KNOW we're going to go through a LOT of wipes. Even now, childless, we use these for everything from cleaning to pets to arts and crafts....baby wipes come in handy! They're a quick and convenient way to fix any mess that you've made!

I was a little uncertain about this stash of wipes from Dr. K. Many bulk deals on Amazon offer more packages to be purchased at once. However, wipes are wipes! So I decided to order and give them a shot.

When they arrived, I was happy to feel that they're just as heavy as packages that I've gotten with 8 or 10 packages of more wipes each. This clued me in instantly that there was something different here!

Upon opening the package, I was able to easily open the individual pack of 72 wipes and pull one out. I've had packages that didn't do too well with this part, and the cover would tear. A torn package of wipes means that you've got to use them FAST or they'll dry up! Then, they're worthless! This is such a pain because you have to look into alternative storage. Luckily, the edges of the packing are reinforced and the wrapper is durable. This is great. Over time, I'll know more about how the packaging holds up. So far, so good, though!

Back to the idea of something being different. Although these wipes come with fewer packages than other bulk lots, the difference is in the quality of the wipes. These wipes are NICE! Pulling one out, I thought I had pulled out two! These wipes are nice a big! They're thick and more like a cloth than typical wipes. This means that you're literally using less and making less of a mess! These would serve you well for BIG messes if you wanted to use cheaper wipes for lighter messes. Dr. K's wipes would also work well for paint, sticky candy/cake messes, and other heavy-duty needs!

My favorite thing about these wipes is that they don't have that nasty, chemically scent that most wipes do. That smell REALLY gets to me and makes me sick. It's horrible, because wipes are something that I will HAVE to be in contact with! There's no overwhelming scent and that means that I don't smell like wipes after using them.

I tested these on my own skin to see how it felt afterwards. Out of everything, this was the most dreaded aspect of this review. I didn't want to feel the sticky, grimy coating of whatever is in wipes after my skin dried. I'm happy (and relieved) to say that I didn't have this issue! I washed my hands after this test, but if I couldn't have, I would have been fine. This is the closest to soap and water that I would be comfortable with as an actual cleaning. No residue means that skin can breathe and this means less irritation!

Overall, I'm sold on these wipes! I'm putting them up to use for BIG messes. I'll conserve them, as they're my favorite so far! If you're looking for a great quality wipe that will handle whatever you or your child throws at it, this is a great option at a great price!

#PhytopiaUSA Stretch Mark Removing Oil Review

I've had and have used this oil regularly for going on three weeks now. I realize that this may not be the FULL amount of time that this product needs to be completely effective, but I wanted to get my initial impressions down before I spent the rest of the time with the product and forgot what they were. I will come back to update this review as needed.

My fears for this product were that it would be extremely greasy (on my already oily skin), it would stink (and that my coworkers would be able to pick up on it) and that it would irritate my sensitive skin. That being said, I started out with just a LITTLE in one spot, and worked myself up to full coverage as my confidence increased. I would highly suggest the same for you if you tend to react to foreign substances or have random allergic reactions.

The oil, upon opening it, was NOT overwhelming. In fact, once I rubbed it in and it absorbed, there was very little to no residual scent. I really had to smell for it, and to be honest, it could be my bloodhound nose that I got with my pregnancy! The oil went on smoothly, and because I was careful with the amount I used, it wasn't slimey and greasy. You want a VERY thin coat. I would say that resistance on your skin when rubbing it in is ideal.

The marks that I have are very fresh. This should also be noted. I have no SUPER old stretch marks, as this is my first pregnancy.

My observations as of right now are as follows: the oil absorbed rather quickly and left my skin feeling soft. Once or twice, I did get too much, and I noticed a bit of an uncomfortable sticky feeling. Be very aware of how much you're applying! When I did it correctly, I had zero issues. My skin is softer and feels more moisturized. I've noticed the marks have faded noticeably, and that makes me happy! I plan to pick up another bottle to use once baby is born!

A notable perk is the beautiful black velvet bag that the bottle comes in! It makes it easy to recognize when you're looking over a variety of bottles.

Novica United's Dazzling Flower Bloom Necklace Review!

This one, I am SO EXCITED ABOUT!!! You guys KNOW I LOVE Novica's gorgeous handmade stuff!

I'm a SUCKER for natural materials and handmade products. As an art lover, I can really appreciate the work put into a product...especially when that product is made in a culture completely different than mine (because they have difference methods and resources!). This necklace kicks it up a notch because you can tell the AMOUNT of work that was put into this!

The overall effect is beautiful and colorful. However, it's the fine detail and individual stones that really take this piece to the next level! If you look closely, you can see that the stones are singularly drilled, strung on the durable twine, and knotted individually! I expected them to be all strung at once! Even THAT would be a lot of work for how many stones there are!

I'm also impressed that with so many smaller pieces, the flower center piece is very balanced and sits nicely on the chest. The small stones leading down to the center compliment it very nicely! Everything is SO TIGHT and specifically placed, yet the effect is very whimsical and carefree. Quality meets adorability here!

I feel that I have a huge neck and a huge head. If your head is small enough, you can probably slip it over. However, if you're like me you'll have to use the ball-and-loop system in the back of the necklace. This is a little complicated to get at first, but once you get it down, it's very easy! The necklace has NO issues with falling off, either! With it being a little heavier, this was a concern of mine. Because the string is a bit waxed, it provides a secure hold.
Overall, I'm VERY happy with this wearable work of art. It's beautiful and definitely a conversation starter!

APOSON MultiFunction Watch Review!

I was very excited to get something this awesome for my husband! Just from the photos, the watch looks impressive, but we all know how judging a book by it's cover goes!

When this watch arrived, my first impression was that the watch is BIG! I was a little worried that my husband (who has small hands) wouldn't want to wear it. However, he LOVES it!

The watch HAS to be this big though. There's really not a lot of unnecessary space on the surface. With two clocks (for two different time zones...handy for business men or military men in different time zones trying to contact others across the world!), a thermometer (C), AND a compass, this watch packs a LOT of information into a small space.

I was impressed with the quality of the watch, too! There's nothing cheap about it! It's all stainless steel, so it's not going to turn your skin. The gunmetal color is really sharp looking and compliments the black leather band. The stitching on the band is nice and tight and is very neat. It's not loose or uneven. The watch overall is very professional looking.




Numbers on the face of the instruments are very easy to read and have very clear lettering and numbering. It was very easy to set the clocks and I'm often intimidated by this task.

Overall, this is a very striking piece. The only thing that I would change would be the fact that it features Celsius and not Fahrenheit. However, I believe more of the world uses Celsius.
