We're not huge drinkers. In fact, I just don't drink. However, my husband will OCCASIONALLY have a little bottle of Whiskey (the cheap nasty stuff haha!!). When he does, he gets the little plastic bottles, and I've experienced first hand the way those suckers leak when you open them and try to reseal them. On top of that, the bottle just doesn't LOOK great. Sometimes, the label isn't even put on straight!
For those reasons, I wanted to get my husband this flask. He doesn't ask for/get a whole lot, so when I find something that he can use and might enjoy, I'm excited! I was excited about this flask because I know he enjoys nicer conveniences in life.
When this flask arrived, I was actually surprised at how large it is. It's not too large to carry, but it's one of the bigger ones I've seen (outside of those comically large ones!). I gave it a squeeze as soon as I opened it to see how durable it actually is. I know some of them are super cheaply made and buckle easily. This guy didn't give much at all! It's very nicely weighted and feels great in the hand.
The top isn't hard to figure out, either. It's simple to open and close, and it closes very securely. The top is attached so there's no risk of losing it.
The flask overall is very striking and sophisticated looking. It's got a gleam to it that instantly ups your class, even if you're drinking cheap, nasty whiskey! Hahaha!!
I'd highly suggest this as a gift for the man in your life or as a personal purchase.
