I am coming up on a very painful time in my life: post-delivery. While I'm excited to meet my son, I'm dreading, SO MUCH, the pain that will come with recovering. I'm experiencing a VERY LONG pregnancy (will more than likely go over my due date), so I'm expecting this guy to be BIG. I am NOT excited about him physically coming out. That being said, I'm doing all I can to make this process as easy as possible. Along with a few other measures, I saw this cushion and knew that I needed it.
When it arrived, I was surprised at how big it actually is. This is great for me, as I've kind of expanded in the past couple of months of pregnancy. The seat has plenty of room, so if you're bigger like me, you don't have to worry about it being to small. If you're smaller, you're going to have plenty of space and you can sit on it in any number of positions and still be covered.
The next thing I noticed about this cushion was that the cooling factor is VERY easily felt with just a few seconds of pressing on it. It really does feel nice! While it's not ice cold, I do definitely notice a difference and paired with the fact that it's like memory foam, the cool contours to your body. This is great, because you don't have to fold or force it any certain way to get relief.
The foam in this pillow is firm but not too firm. It's like a nice medium memory foam pillow. It contours, but it also has a bit of a push back. It's not going to go flat on you anytime soon.
Overall, I really like this pillow and know that it's going to help me a LOT as I recover. I'd highly suggest it if you take part in long road trips, have a desk job, or have spine/hip issues.
