From the moment I saw NOVICA United's Origami Fox Earrings, I fell in LOVE with them! If you were to summarize me as a person, it might look like these little cuties! I have a HUGE heart for animals (too big, actually), I'm in LOVE with Asian culture (that happens when you spend your whole life being asked if you ARE Asian!), and I adore the creative expression that is any artform.
Take that last aspect and sprinkle in the fact that NOVICA's products are handmade and designed by artisans from around the world and DING DING DING, you have a winner in my book!
When I first received my package I was excited! I'd been watching the mail patiently. These little guys were sold out on Amazon, so I had to wait a bit. I can see why they were, too!
They come in a beautiful gift bag (no need to do anything else) that looks woven. The designs/stitching/embroidery is beautiful. The colors are well coordinated, and the drawstring holds the bag securely shut.
These little foxes are adorable! They're very little, and that makes the work done so much more impressive! On a smaller scale, detail is SO MUCH harder to do (I'm an art teacher...I LIVE this!). The surfaces are finely polished, the lines are crisp and straight, and there's no jagged parts at all!
The post is VERY secure on the back of the earrings, and the back fastens securely so I'm not worried about losing one of them (I'd be devastated if I did!!).
Overall, these are quality, fun, unique, and compassion (helping artisans) all wrapped into one package. Throw it in a beautiful gift bag and you've got a gift that won't soon be forgotten!
