Peridot is my husband's birthstone, and for a long while I've considered getting a band or even a new ring that features the light green stone. I haven't done much research into it, but I was excited to get this necklace for the same reasoning.
I expected the stone to be my main reason for liking the necklace, however, the detail in ring around the stone in the the .925 silver (it's stamped on the back of the pendant) steals the show! Whether it's the shadow or a black additive, the fine line detail really pops and I LOVE it! It looks like a very tiny weaving detail!
The stone is very secure in the setting, and it doesn't stick out of the back of the pendant like some necklaces tend to do. The design of the pendant overall is very balanced and very ancient looking. It's beautiful and unique!
The uniqueness is multiplied when you consider that each piece is handmade, comes with a card/COA that gives you the story of the piece/artist, and a beautiful little drawstring bag for gift giving!
I'm loving this piece for the work put into it, it's simplicity (yet detail), and the association it holds with my husband. If you're looking for a pretty piece for an August baby or just a unique piece in general, this is a great option!
