Golden Groundhog Pikachu Playmat Set Review!

Pokemon was a HUGE part of my childhood. I remember days spent trading cards, searching out the hard-to-finds, and working a deal harder than I worked my math homework! That was about 20 years ago. It's hard to believe that that much time has passed... What's not hard to believe is that the franchise has stood the test of time. Somehow, Pokemon has grasped the imagination of every generation since it's conception. I'm proud to be a gen 1 kid, and I can't wait to introduce my kid/s to the obsession that I grew up with!

Only recently have I began deck building and studying the rules/types and processes. It's really fascinating and now that I'm an adult and not an awe-struck 3rd grader, it's easy! Locally, there's even tournaments and others who want to play.

With that being said, if you wanna be taken seriously, you've gotta look the part! This set of mat, deck box, and tokens by Golden Groundhog allows for that to be easy to do!

My favorite part of the whole set would have to be the mat. It's thick, well-printed, and doesn't have any discolorations or frays to it.

Next, the deck box is my favorite. It's sturdy, easy to open and close, and holds cards perfectly! It is printed to match the rest of the set, and I love the coordination!

In this set you're also going to get some tokens that no one else will have! The artwork is so very unique!
