In the past, I've taken Garcinia Cambogia and have had AWFUL experiences. Something about me doesn't react well to it. In fact, the weight loss supplement RUINED a trip to the zoo with my husband! I literally couldn't make it to each section of the zoo without needing to find a bathroom or face dire consequences and public humiliation!

With that in mind, I was nervous to try Petite Plus' Weight Loss Supplement because I could see it happening again! When looking at the ingredients, I saw that basically, all of the supplements I've tried in the past were rolled into one. I've had varying degrees of success with them, but the one that DID not work was the Garcinia!

At first, I started out with taking ONE of the recommended TWO pills with lots of water 30 minutes before meals. When I started to feel hungry, I would take one as well to hold me over (they make you feel full!). As I felt more confident, I upped the dosage and I'm happy to report that I never suffered any negative consequences! In fact, I felt an increase in energy!

After a week and a half of taking these, I have lost a few pounds. I am happy that it only comes off 2/3 pounds at a time, because losing weight too fast is very unhealthy!

My favorite part of this experience, however, is that the supplement was gentle on my sensitive system!

Highly Effective Cockroach Killing Bait Powder Review!

Living out "in the sticks", it's common to have a buggy visitor or two wander in. However, combine this with the fact that we live in Pine-tree central, and we've seen our share of roaches. Nothing grosses me out more than a roach. Normally, I have a no-kill policy. Spiders, beetles, etc....they're all ok in my book. Roaches....no. Just no.

When I saw that they were inhabiting the cabinet top below our microwave, I freaked out. At first, I attempted to just kill them when I saw them. But soon, I started seeing little ones. THAT means there's a HEALTHY colony that's breeding. NOPE!!!

I decided to give Highly Effective Cockroach Killing Bait Powder a shot. After all, I really had nothing to lose! Putting it in a place far out of reach of our pets, I waited.

As of the time of this post, I haven't seen any in/around our microwave! It has been about a week! I am so happy and feel better about using the thing! The powder isn't as odorous or messy as I expected and it really works!

If you're looking for relief from roaches, give this stuff a shot! If it could do away with our beginning infestation so quickly, more of it could fix your HUGE one!

Blitzwolf Braided USB C Cable Review!

Charging cables and USB cables are kind of a sore spot for me. It seems that I'm CONSTANTLY buying them. They fray, melt, and break far too easily! Honestly, I'm at the point where I want QUALITY over QUANTITY. I've not been caught off guard lately when I find that a charger isn't working anymore...whether it's my iPad, MacBook, Android Phone, Tablets, etc. Nothing lasts! The worst offenders are the plastic cables!

However, I recently tried out Blitzwolf's line of braided cables and I have to say that I'm very impressed! The cable is very durable, has a nice weight to it, and plugs in nicely! I got the black cable, and it's really sleek and modern looking! I haven't had any issues with it charging slowly, not wanting to cooperate, or beginning to wear out!

Overall, it's a sturdy little cable. If you're looking for a cable to end the constant purchase of junk ones, this is the one for you!

Tidy Ridey Baby Sunshade Review!

Anyone who rides in my car complains about the sun in their face. I'm not sure if it's the time of day we travel or the specifications of my car, but it's inevitable. No matter how they turn or bend to sit...and even if they move the visor to different positions...it's just not possible to keep the sun out of your eyes in my car! Short of sunglasses, I thought there was nothing that could be done! BUT...I didn't think of "baby" shades!

Tidy Ridey offered me the opportunity to review their set of two sunshades, and I knew that they could be the perfect solution to the sun issue! 

I was very impressed with how the shades were packaged. However, one of my suction cups did come folded in half. HOWEVER, once I got into my car, cleaned the window, put the clip-on suction cups on the shade, and suctioned them to my window, I couldn't even tell there was an issue! 

Now...I really didn't expect these to stay put as long as they have. However, they are holding up great! In fact, once you get the suction cups on the window, it's possible to "scoot" the shade a little to adjust where the shade falls. I should point out that my windows are a BIT too small for these shades (I have a little car), and they're still staying put despite the resistance of the door of my car! I've had these for a while now, and they haven't popped off! Each shade comes with three cups.

The sunshade does a great job of blocking out unwanted light. You can still see out of the window and into the car. They aren't blackout. It makes it possible to ride in my car now, without a headache!

The set even comes with a convenient storage bag (they're flexible for easy stashing!). 

There you have it! I really like these guys and they're a great convenience! If you're looking to block the sunlight for ANY reason (sensitivity to sun, baby need, or just because you want to) these are the sunshades for you!

Ulensy LED Magnifying Glass Review!

I remember magnifying glasses from when I was a kid. They were one of two things: fragile and cheaply made or heavy enough to knock someone out with! The latter of the two were ALWAY vintage/antique versions and the foremost always a Dollar General version that my sister and I used to burn wood.

This magnifying glass set by Ulensy takes it to the next level! This set isn't JUST for making things larger...it's for customizing HOW much larger you want it! This isn't a standard glass by any means! Sometimes more magnification is needed and sometimes just a little...the interchangeable lenses on this handle allow for this ease of transformation! Each glass snaps securely into place and is easy to take out when you need to change it! Each one is crystal clear and magnifies beautifully!

The LED light is a nice plus to this set. It could be used for working in tight, dark spaces (computer repair) or for offering clarity to the project that you're working on (model painting!). I'm most excited to get this glass out in nature to look into the dark cracks and crevices!

The plastic that the set comes tucked into is great for keeping the whole set together and keeping it safe! I'll be keeping that part!

This set brings back so many childhood memories! I'm happy to have it for artistic purposes and exploring ones too!

UpNature Eucalyptus Oil Review!

I've become an essential oil nut! I'm not kidding! I'm always researching what the oils do and what they can help cure! I'm still in the process of determining their legitimacy as medicinal remedies, but in the mean time, they're air fresheners that REALLY cover a room!

Recently, I was approved to review UPNature's Eucalyptus Oil. I've always heard of the plant, but I had no earthly idea what it smelled like or what it did!

When I received my bottle, I was really happy to see how LARGE it is! 4oz is actually a LOT of oil...especially if you consider that it's concentrated! In fact, when I took the regular lid off and put in the dropper lid, the bottle overflowed a little! I would definitely suggest using a little before doing this! I just wiped off the excess and I'm being VERY careful with it until I use it down!

The dropper lid works very well! It sucks up the oil easily and the rubber top is thick enough that it's not going to rot easily. However, with it being so full, I highly suggest opening it every other day or so to let some pressure off!

The main benefit that I was interested in was Eucalyptus' relaxing/sleep inducing/improving qualities. I spilled a bit of it on my hand when I first opened it, and I DID notice that I was sleepier sooner than typical. Midnight is nothing for me. That's actually somewhat early....and I was out by 10:30!

Now that I've gotten it in my diffuser, my room smells minty and earthy. I love the smell and my husband does as well! It's a very soothing scent!

ThermaLabs Natural Exfoliating Gloves Review!

I'm VERY much a skeptic when it comes to reviewing products, despite all of my positive reviews. In fact, 90% of the time, I try something because I WANT to offer a helpful review on the potential downsides of a product. In this review, my skepticism came from the fact that I've suffered from HORRIBLE dry skin for a LONG time. Not everywhere...but just in a location that absolutely DRIVES ME CRAZY: my legs. Guys...I'm not kidding when I say I've taken a WIRE brush to my legs to relieve the itch! I've tried everything! Different lotions, oils (even EMU OIL...GROSS)...body butter, different razors, shaving creams...it's been awful! My poor husband is the best soul on Earth and even scratches the crap out of them for me sometimes!

When I was offered the opportunity to review ThermaLab's 3 set of exfoliating gloves, I was skeptical...BUT...IF they worked...I would be looking at a WHOLE lot of relief.

When I received the gloves in the mail, I noticed that the packaging is very professionally done! The design overall looks very legitimate....like something you'd see in a retail store! When I opened the box, I found a finger scrubber (I used for the inside corners of the outside of my nose and my chin!) and three different gloves. One is Loofah backed, one is Sisal backed, and one is Jute backed. I was a bit clueless as to why I needed three of them, but the included guide was PERFECT for figuring out my needs in an exfoliator. It turns out, I can really use all three, depending on the issue the given patch of skin is facing!

My favorite, by far, is the Loofah glove. I ran it back and forth over my calves, and I'm telling you...it was PURE heaven. Not only was it great for getting that itchy skin scratched, but it was amazing afterwards. My skin looked brighter (not good on my albino legs...but good in that they're not loaded with dead skin anymore!), and the best part is that the itch wasn't there anymore! I've noticed a significant difference now that I've been using this glove daily! Before, I would have never accepted the fact that something so simple could help with a problem I've had for YEARS!

The glove itself has stood up to my shower for a week or so now. The stitching is very durable and the glove fits my big hands! The wrist band isn't too tight and the glove is just big enough to store in my shower caddy.

If you're looking for a great way to fix that skin condition, try this before you spend MORE money on oils, lotions, soaps, etc! Maybe exfoliation is all you need!

Wear Me Pro's Mirrored Lens Designer Sunglasses Review!

I'm an accessory LOVER. I've always loved my necklaces and bracelets, but recently, thanks to WearMe Pro, I've discovered the world of sunglasses! I'm familiar with the typical styles: aviator, wayfarer, etc. I personally think that your accessories should be as unique as you are! WearMe Pro offers a HUGE variety of unique glasses and this pair is no different!

My mirrored glasses remind me SO much of something that Lady Gaga would wear! They have a really gothic/modern feel. The frames are hand polished and matte black and there's no piece to rest on the bridge of the nose. This leaves a really unique looking space on your face! The lenses are dark, and they offer 100% UV protection.

The frame, despite having no nose piece, is EXTREMELY durable and strong. These actually feel more secure than traditional frames! The ear pieces are very securely fastened to the frame and open and close smoothly. The plastic bits that rest on each side of the nose are fasted securely to the frame and sit comfortably.

Overall, I LOVE these glasses! They're SO unique looking and the frame is SO solid. If you're looking for a statement piece, these are it! Get your pair here!

Valentia Detoxifying Clay Mask Review!

I have to be VERY careful about what I put on my skin. I'm not talking mild irritation...I'm talking full-blown hives, chemical burns, and wishing I weren't among the living!! It comes as no surprise that the majority of the items I use are naturally based. I can't do chemical peels, as appealing as they sound, and I can't exfoliate as much as I wish I could!

Dead Sea Mud masks have been MURDER on my face! I get dry, itchy, and burning sensations, even with sparingly using them! I LOVE the feel of a mask, though, and I'm convinced that it's the best way to correct problems!

When I was offered the opportunity to review Valentia's Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask, I was excited! I love trying new beauty products and any time I can find out if something will work with my skin and not pay full price, I'm in!

My favorite part of this mask is that it contains Cranberry fibers. You can SEE them when you open the jar! I'm a sucker for Cranberry and it's healing properties! When you want to prevent Urinary Tract Infections, you drink a lot of Cranberry juice! Why? Because it kills/pulls out toxins! I'm also a fan of the scent of the mask. It's WONDERFUL. It's mostly flowery (Hibiscus) with a hint of fruit (Cranberry). This jar will last a LONG time! A little goes a long way! It's smooth to apply and it gets dry/tacky quick. It's easy to take off (with a towel and warm water) and I can tell IMMEDIATELY that my skin LOOKS cleaner.

Overall, I'm very happy with this mask! It's easy on my sensitive skin, the jar goes far, it's got a wonderful scent, and it works!

Justified Laboratories Colon Detox Supplement Review!

Over time, it's not uncommon to feel sluggish. Whether it comes from eating a lot of fast food or not drinking enough water, there's a way to "reset" your body and rid yourself of toxins. Over time, toxins and debris build up in the small intestine, and really...the entire body. But how to get it out, safely?

Justified Laboratories has created an awesome detox system. Now normally, I'm hesitant of supplements that I find on Amazon. However, with this supplement being made in the USA, my worries were immediately put to ease. the label is in clear English. Nothing worries me to the point of not using supplements like broken English!

To put it bluntly, you're going to go if you take this. For the first dose, I would definitely suggest being in a place where you can easily reach a bathroom without it interfering with your day! Of course, you want to drink plenty of water with this supplement so you don't pass all of your hydration. The pill was easy to swallow and I didn't experience any bad taste in my mouth afterwards.

Outside of losing that waste weight, you're going to feel lighter and more energized! I really do believe that my new energy came from taking this supplement and getting rid of those toxins. It was a bit of rough going at first, but I do feel better!

RF Lighted Manicure System Review!

Yikes...it's not often that I get something to review that just doesn't go well. Usually, companies who offer their products to review are very confident in what they're sending out. And I'm not saying that that's not the case. Perhaps I've received a fluke of a product, but my manicure system from RF had a few problems, for sure.

When I received the product to review, the box was dented and bent up. There was plastic wrap around it, so that was a good way to ensure that the interchangeable heads didn't fall out and go everywhere.

The plastic inside of the box sandwiches the pen and the heads. This also helps to keep everything together.

I put the battery in the pen, and had a little difficulty getting my trimming strip to stay on. After getting the others to stay on, I realized that the trimming pad's latch-on was broken. I was able to get it to stay on with a little work, but I didn't want to force anything.

After I got through one and a half nails, I was extremely disappointed to find that the motor function stopped working. The light still works... but the back-and-forth motion isn't working. Essentially, it is worthless without this feature.

I have messaged the company at the time of this review, and I'm hoping that this product in specific was just flawed.

The one nail that I completely finished gleams like a painted/artificial nail! It's so pretty! That makes the disappointment even more. :/

NOVICA United "Joyous Earth" Throw Review!

Something happened recently. I'm not sure what, but over night, I became an old lady in spirit who LOVES scented candles and blankets. My blanket collection is quite ridiculous, and as many of those as I can find are handmade (it's the art teacher in me!). In the handmade world, unfortunately, people tend to beef up their prices. Not that handmade textiles aren't worth it...but some people do it much more than others. I've seen hand-woven BABY blankets go for nearly $200!!

When I was asked to review NOVICA United's handwoven blanket, I was super excited! It's literally a product that is right up my alley! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I definitely feel like I was pleasantly surprised with this throw!

The quality of the craftsmanship is fantastic! It is even, consistent, thick, and beautiful! There are no flaws or weak spots. The yarn used to create this blanket is thick and soft and traps body heat nicely! At the edges of the blanket is a fringe that is tied off. These knots are very secure and the fringe is long. It's a nice detail. The blanket overall is wide and long enough for me to get comfortably covered in (I'm 5'8")!

The artist in me LOVES the color scheme of this blanket. The natural colors compliment the decor of my bedroom. The live goes VERY nicely with the burn red/rust color. Those are my two favorites. :)

Just a note on the blanket: It will stretch and expand after you open it. If you accidentally snag it on something, just pull from either end, and it will pull the yarn back into it.

Overall, I'm VERY happy with this blanket. It will be around for years and years to come. I'm not at the point where I have kids, but I can definitely see this as being one of their favorites and a blanket that I pass down! From the color scheme to the design to the material and quality, this is a purchase you won't regret!

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream Review!

Hello, hello, everyone!!

As you know, I'm a beauty junkie. That being said, it's HARD for me to not be on top of my game. For the past couple of months, I've been EXHAUSTED. Literally. I find it hard to keep my eyes open while driving, taking breaks from work, and it's even cut into my energy level for just watching movies with my husband! I can't explain the toll that this has taken on my body. Luckily, I'm on the mend, but the physical aspects of this illness is definitely visible.

When I received my Valencia True Glow Eye Cream, I was anxious to try it. I've become painfully aware of the PURPLE bags under my eyes and how obvious they are. I was curious to see what they would do, and how fast it would work. After washing my face, I applied the eye cream. Before I get to the results, I will tell you that yesterday I went to a funeral. It was family...and extremely difficult. My eyes are swollen and it feels like the Kleenex put a million micro cuts under my eyes. Despite this, I wanted to try it and expected it to BURN. It didn't! The formula is gentle and cooling and I didn't experience any discomfort (disclaimer: you're probably not supposed to put it on broken skin...). In about ten minutes, I went to go see if I could tell any difference. I was happy to see that the most purple part of my eye...near the inner corner...looked DRAMATICALLY lighter than the other!

Typically, eye creams will cause my sensitive eyes to run and the scent gives me a headache. However, I didn't have either of these problems with Valentia's cream!

Overall, I'm a happy camper! I can't wait to see what results are like over time!

Cujo Control Dog Training Collar Kit Review!

We have a BIG dog who is hell-bent on jumping. No matter what we say, or do, or reinforce, she's GOING to jump. I'm not sure, but I'm starting to think that she's got a joy in raking her claws down our arms and stomachs and legs. I'm also pretty sure that she loves knocking us down and sending things that we may be holding flying.

Jade Vitality Quick Dry Microfiber Sports Towel Review!

I get really excited about things that I've never tried before! It's exciting in itself to try different versions of things I'm familiar with. When you have me try something that I've never experienced, it's the excitement times two! Of course, I've used a towel before. I use them daily, and I'm a sucker for a GOOD one. For me, stepping into a good towel is just as good as the shower beforehand! I've also used microfiber kitchen scrubs and towels and car-cleaning towels. However, I've never used a full-sized microfiber towel. When I was offered the opportunity to review Jade Vitality's Quick Dry Microfiber Sports Towel, I was ready to experience something new!

When I received the product, it was wrapped up tightly in a plastic wrap. The towel was tightly compressed and rolled up into a bundle and slid into a mesh bag. The bag fastens with a drawstring and features a top and bottom section made out of windbreaker material. This reinforces the bag's ability to hold such a powerful towel, as the mesh might rip if it were on the bottom!

When pulling the towel out of the bag, I noticed that it feels like a giant piece of suede. It's dense and heavy like a large piece of suede, but it's thin! This makes it easy to pack and roll up and carry with you! To the pool, on a hike, just to keep around the house....it really comes in handy! In fact, as I write this, my little mirco-pig is recovering from her bath and drying with the towel!

The towel SUCKED up the water from her coarse hair and left her skin dry in no time at all! I was really impressed by the amount of water that it was able to hold. When I was done, I attempted to wring it out, and nothing came out!

The large loop on the towel makes it easy to hang up and dry! It is stitched to the towel securely. In fact, all of the stitching on the towel is even and durable.

If you're looking for an alternative to lugging around thick, heavy towels, the Jade Vitality Quick Dry Microfiber Sports Towel is the towel for you! You won't regret your purchase, and may even consider replacing all of your towels!

Votprof Natural Beeswax Candles Review!

If you're "in the know" when it comes to me, you'll know that I have a few weaknesses that I can't control! Candles, Blankets, Essential Oils, Animals, Art (and supplies), Product Reviewing and so on.... I know, I know. I'm weird. BUT...when you combine two of my interests into one package deal, how can I say no?? Today's post is a review of Votprofs Natural Beeswax Candles! I was offered the opportunity to review the pack in exchange for my honest opinion, and I was excited!

The first thing that I noticed about these candles is that they ARE on the little side! These little guys have a 1/4 inch diameter and the entire bundle is the size of probably four or five standard taper candles. This pack includes 30, which means that you're not likely to run out any time soon! ESPECIALLY when you consider that ONE of these tapers burns for an hour and twenty minutes! That's a LOT of power packed into one candle!

The candles, I've noticed, are very flexible. They are able to be bent and folded as needed without breaking. This means that they won't crumble and fall apart over time! Stash them up and know that they'll be ready when you need them!

The best part, especially to those of you with allergies or sensitivities, is that these natural beeswax candles don't put off any irritating scents or smoke. Normal candles fill the air with all sorts of stuff. With their natural wax and cotton wicks, Votprof's candles offer an alternative! The beeswax doesn't have much of a scent to it...but the scent that IS there is very earthy and natural. Because of the small candle size, you REALLY have to be trying to smell it!

Overall, I really like these candles! I think they're going to come in handy when the power goes out and we need a long lasting candle! Because of their small size, they're not going to take up a lot of room as they do their job! If you're looking for a natural alternative to smelly, smoky candles, this is is!

Prymal Lion Cat Hat Review!

Cats? We've got them!

From Sphynx to Piebald to Tabby to Scottish Fold...there's no shortage of cats in our home! I didn't start my life as a cat person...but somehow I became one over time. That being said, when I was offered the opportunity to review Prymal's Lion Cat Hat, I couldn't pass it up! The promotional photos made it look ADORABLE and I couldn't wait to put it on our cats!

When I opened the package, I had to pen the hat from a plastic bag. Because of the combination of this plastic package and the packing bubble envelope, the hat was very flat upon arrival. It took a few minutes of fluffing and the help of a puppy to get it to looking like a mane, but it did get there! Right out of the bag, it did shed a little, but I would expect that with something so fluffy. The ears are easily visible through the fluff! The inside of the hat is a cotton material, so there's no holes or mesh to trap nails in if they freak out. The outside is made very similar to a stuffed animal with fur.

Like I mentioned, we have a wide variety of cats, and they're all different ages. Obviously, sizes too. I started out with the smallest of the cats and worked my way up to our biggest babies. The hat was FAR too large for our smallest babies (they're about 1.5 years old but were dwarfed due to a malnourished pregnancy). It slid forward when they looked down, and the velcro chin strap, although strong, didn't come in enough to snugly fit their heads.

Our biggest cats had issues with keeping the hat up as well. It slid forward, but less than the smaller cats did. I still had to take the chin strap in for them.

The only complaints that I would have about this hat is that it has a clear seam right down the middle. This makes it look less natural (which really...it's a hat on a cat...it can't be TOO natural) and makes it harder to fluff up. The size is a little disappointing as well. To fit cats, I feel like it needs to be smaller or feature an optional elastic band. But...it could be the best fit for the sanity of the cat! I know that my cats freaked out with it on their heads!
